It likely won't be available until the end of October. You could say the same with the Athlon FX - it will be very difficult if at all possible to get this next month.

Yes it is for sale, but every review site said that it is in extremely limited quantities. When those are gone, who knows if and when you can buy one.

For example, there are 3 listings with the Athlon FX listed on pricewatch. Two of those companies are acutally the same company with the same website but just different names (PC Progress and PCRapids.com). That company doesn't have the Athlon FX actually available on the website even though it is listed on pricewatch. Newegg lists it on their website but limits the quantities that can be ordered (signalling a shortage that will soon run out).

If you want a guaranteed chip over the next few weeks, you have the 3200+ Athlon 64 and the 3.2 GHz P4 to choose from.
