that is very much true for car audio...

Do yourself a favor, go to your local best buy and pick up the Pioneer DEH-P3100 for $181.....very excellent cd player....i have one in my car now...the sound is so clear and the cd player even reads CD-RW! Soon im getting rid of this one and getting a pioneer DEH-P7200

I know this doesn't help ya, but Crutchfield is the bomb for car audio. They'll give a free install kit and wiring harness, plus install support if ya need it. They were great.
