Why can't you also get one from the girlfriend's father?

just carry a 9-iron around. do the Tiger ball-bounce if anyone looks at you funny so you look like a legit golfer.

Blackjacks can be used to inflict devastating damage on bones and tissues, and are considered in many jurisdictions to be deadly weapons. Blackjacks are also illegal in many jurisdictions. Traditionally used by police officers, they have been replaced to a large extent by telescopic and side-handle batons.

So maybe you cant buy it anymore :-/. They are rather small and they fit nicely into a backpack, not like a tire iron or baseball bat. Which are deadly weapons IMO but arent legally considered because they were made for different uses, i.e baseball, and getting of your tires. :)

How about a lead pipe? Wrap it in leather yourself if you really want a leather one.

Sounds like the perfect "attitude adjustment tool" for misbehaving exchange servers.

I'd get a telescopic baton, I held a couple this weekend and I'd hate to be on the wrong end of one of those. They were heavily weighted at the beating end.

I like this idea. Gives it sentimental value too.

Collapsable baton. ASP.
You can get them from Brigade Quartermasters.

BETTER IDEA: Get something that wont land you in jail. Like Pepper Spray or Mace.
If you are really serious about SELF-Defense, these would be good alternatives.
If you believe the best defense is a good offense, then look into batons and such.
