I worked at Kenny Rogers roasters when I was 14. Since you dont have to be picky, just tell him to ask around everywhere, and something will bite.

Worked at party fair when i was 17.. some other kids were 15.

Nice owner, paid 7 an hour, flexible hours and basically all we did was use a pricing gun. Seems like a good first job to find out what working is like.

I was bagging groceries at a local grocery store at 14 with a work permit. Try some local stores that have baggers.

Definately have him work a service job.

If he deals with asshole customers, he'll learn to not be an asshole the next time it's taking a little longer at the restaurant/pharmacy/etc.

I dunno, maybe this is me being a rich elitist prick, but do we really even need 15 year olds working to begin with? They should be working hard enough in school and on homework. Maybe a summer job, but during the school year I'm not so sure its a great idea, the parents should be making enough money to pay for everything a kid needs, I understand having them learn "real life" skills along with what they learn in school, but I dunno 15 is sorta young. Personally I did some volunteer work in high school, but didn't have a paying job until after freshmen year of college and even that you really ain't making tons of money, alot of people I know spent every summer in college doing nothing or "resume building" at non-paid internships and stuff and still ended up getting great jobs out of college.

Hopefully he'll get a job where he has to interact with many people on a continual basis.

The sackers at the grocery stores around here are all 14-16. Sure beats fast food, plus he gets some exercise and gets to practice social skills with a wide variety of adults.

I second that. He might eventually want to move up to cashier once he gets a little older, but bagging is a good job.

My girlfriend in high school started sacking at 15 and became a cashier in about a year.

I started doing data entry stuff when I was 14. $7.50/hr back then was sweet. What's also good about it is I could listen to my walkman too. Walkman!!!!

Look in the local paper circular that has jobs for this type of stuff. Many years of those types of jobs then I also did a clerical job that led to full time database work right after college.

I'm a camp counselor for a summer job, but that's not during the regular year. As stated before, being a grocery bagger is good since you can get minimum wage (and that's a lot for a minor like me :))

Data entry is so boring. Plus, your wrists can start hurting.
