I know what RAM dividers do, but I cant find where to set them for the life of me. There isnt an option in my BIOS or am option in nTune. how do I set it?

motherboard product code : MB-N590-ASH9
Description : FX NFORCE 590 SLI SOCKET AM2 DDR2
Manufacturer : XFX

Not sure about the BIOS revision. I realize I might be in need of a BIOS update, but im really confused on how to do that. Do I need a floppy drive to update the BIOS?

EDIT : BIOS is Pheonix brand, version 6.00 PG

I don't even see it listed in the XFX motherboard manual. So I'm not sure but perhaps this slight bump will get you answers.

ya, I dont think my mobo is supported by XFX anymore. I got it in a combo deal with an Athlon X2 4600 at newegg. At the time, it was on their website. Now its like it doesnt exist. i CAN, however, find drivers and stuff for the mobo (but I doubt that they are updated).

Memory/RAM dividers aren't actually called memory dividers in the BIOS. That's just the speed that the BIOS runs your RAM at, while the CPU runs @ it's stock speed. Most BIOS's call them DRAM speed, or some other like-sounding term. Here's your motherboard's manual, in case you can't find the paper copy, although I didn't spend the time searching through it.
