Anyone know where i can purchase a p3 700 ccO online? (prefer if they don't charge extra since its cco) thx 🙂

yea, I'd like to know too... I'd rather not pay large royalties for pretested cc0 p3's, but I wouldn't mind paying a little more than regular price for a sure-shot cc0. I would rather take my chances

Midnight Rambler, I can get plenty of those. The peeps are spoiled. They don't want to buy cB0s from me...no, they gotta have cC0. :Q

erm, sorry to be ignorant, but what's so special about the cC0 p3s? im imagining they o/c well, anyone got examples or something?

Weyoun, I had some cC0 700e go as high as 1100 with air cooling out of my last batch. Also, I saw more at 1GHz than usual. 🙂

erm, holy crap that's good 🙂

i somehow doubt however that we'll be getting any shipments in aus any time soon however 🙂 it'd make a nice u/g for my c466 🙂

hrm, u wanna be best friends? 😛 or more to the point, what would u charge for one once u get a decent stock?

Interesting, 1100 out of a 700. And the 1.13GHz was recalled? Maybe Intel needs to hire some cooling unit designers ...

As for the cb0 vs. cc0, does this new 'step O/C easily at stock voltage, or are these numbers being achieved with crazy high voltages. If that's the case, I'd much rather have a CPU that might O/C a slight bit less but does so at stock core voltage.

Midnight Rambler,

I might be mistaken but I think the cc0 stepping was Intel's solution for a cb0 stepping that couldn't handle 1.13GHz. I might be wrong...but I think this is the case.

I know that a cC0 stepping has the potential to run faster than a cB0 stepped chip, but what exactly does stepping mean?
