Where are my blocks going ?

I'm flushing all my blocks to the Team Anandtech proxy and it appears most every day I end up short comparing what the stats on the team page shows versus what they show on the Distributing Computing stats page. No big deal but I just wonder where they are going.

When I add your numbers I get a different total...

DNet Team Proxy

47,272 46,278

You are actually showing MORE at DNet than the team proxy. There is probably a cow somewhere in your herd that is updating directly to DNet instead of the team proxy, which would account for the 1,000 block difference.

I did mistype the numbers but after reviewing it again I get 46278 for the Distributed Net numbers and 47272 on the Team Anand Tech stats page for a difference of 994.
Now to see if the table copied from Excel this time will paste right here.

If you're comming up short with numbers like that, then most likely, randoms are just canceling out your blocks. There's nothing you can really do about it(nor is it a major problem), so don't get too worried.:Q

Rexfalk, I posted a while ago about some possible good news for missing blocks. You can check it out here.

Thanks guys, I knew the randoms figured into to it and loosing a few to that on average is no big deal. I just wondered if anything else might be involved. After reading ßGød's other thread maybe there is some other reason but at least someone is looking into it.

Thanks,

Rex
