where are background images stored in Win 2000?

If I right click on an image in my browser and choose 'set as background', where does Microsoft store this file? I would like to retrieve the background image and put it on another computer.

Any time I want to use an image I run across for that purpose, I save a separate copy to my Hdd first, to a folder named "Wallpaper". I suspect that the way you choose the images is going to put them in the \TEMP folder. There is this with all of the backgrounds and wallpaper swaps I've made in various Windows versions, when you change once again, you can't go back to the last previous one if you don't have the separate copy as I always make.

Look for a file called "Internet Explorer Wallpaper.bmp". On XP its in the C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer

If Mozilla Firefox
C:\Documents and Settings\$USERNAME\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Desktop Background.bmp

If IE
C:\Documents and Settings\$USERNAME\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Internet Explorer Wallpaper.bmp

Should be in about the same location no matter which browser
