I can't give you an idea on the price however I know its much cheaper than people initially guessed.

Release date is Sept - Oct, but don't hold your breath. Companies all push dates, especially companies making a product for the first time.

Yes it's an Athlon chipset for motherboards.

IIRC, the $125 mark has been tossed around for mobos with this chipset. As impressive as this chipset is, what will be even more impressive is for someone to build a mobo with this chipset and be able to make any profit on it with a $125 price tag.
