When you're selling a pc, is it better to sell it as a whole or part it out?

Just curious.. This isn't technically a price check, so the mods shouldn't lock this thread. I'm just wondering what would net me more money. Selling a pc as a whole or parting it out?

Depends on the components and where you plan on selling it.

Generally it's better to sell it as a whole imho.

I have a couple of pc's. One is a Duron 800 and the other is a XP1800+.

Generally if you are going to sell it in the "for sale/trade" forum here it is better to part it out.
Sell it whole on E*ay.

If you have crappy parts, then sell it as a whole. If you have expensive parts.. then part them out..

If you part it out iit will probably go faster

If you part out- you'll get more money, but you'll waste more time PM'ing and shipping out items.

If the sell the whole thing- you'll have a tough time fining a buyer and you'll eventually get less money. But less hastle...I guess.
