It is your girlfriend. It really depends on the woman. My last college roommate had a fiance who would have periods that lasted a week or slightly longer and be a super uber bitch during that entire time. They eventually broke up right before the wedding because he couldn't stand it anymore.

My wife on the other hand has a very short period and has no moodiness.

Anything that screws with a woman's hormones is a thing to be wary of though. You never know what the reaction will be.

Usually the moodiness is before her period. Once she starts she usually has bad cramps and it tired not really moody.

My last gf had severe periods and was moody....but my current one has mild periods yet still gets very emotional. She cries more and needs tender attention. It definitely varies from girl to girl....it's a hormonal thing.

mine will go from 0(okay) to 60(b!tch) in about 2.2 secs.. ..

Usually in the form of misunderstanding really on her part.. example.. ..

Me: Honey its time to wake up its 6:30 (I do this everyday)
Her: Dont you talk to me like a little f'in kid I see what time it is.. .. and don't speak to me in that tone of voice.. ..

Me:What do you want to eat for dinner?
Her:You know I can't cook I dont know why we always have to have this discussion.. ..just b/c my mom didn't have time to show me doesn't mean.. .. (fast forward 10minutes).

So uh yeah.. ..

Mine doesn't get ill at me at all...of course I usually do extra during that time to make sure her life is comfortable, so that helps.

I have to wonder (married 2X now, working on ex wife #3) if some women don't take advantage of the emotional swings during their period to beat the crap (emotionally) out of their husbands/BF's.

Last wife was miserable to be around on her period, moaning etc...

The b/f keep track of my cycle so he knows when I will become 'unreasonable'. I used to get all mean, but now I just get emotional.

He liked it better when I was mean cause he could just yes me to death and wait for it to blow over. The over emtional stuff .. he doesnt know how to deal with it.

That's a negative. As a matter of fact, we're going on 4 years and are about to get engaged. We love each other (imagine that) and she realizes that she needs to keep her mood under control, and I realize that it must be hella bad living through that so I'll do little things here & there to help make her life more comfortable. It's a fair trade-off, IMO.

I still call shens... and I'm a little offended that you assume that a) my fiancee and I don't "love" each other.... and b) that I don't go out of my way to try and be comforting during her time of month.

But somehow that time of months she's able to do things like hate her favorite chocolate from godiva, and be absolutely repulsed by the smell of her favorite flowers. She gets mad at me for doing things like going to work...

Your woman is either on some really good drugs, or hit the genetic emotional lottery.

Is it possible for them to be on their periods 24/7 then?

I keep rough track, but really need to start marking the calendar. I've gotten so I can definitely recognize the onset of PMS, which helps keep me out of some trouble. I've also almost learned not to say anything about realizing when she has it.
"Oooooh, it's the 20th, that's why you're acting like this"
"Don't blame this on PMS RrraaarrgGGGhhh GRRaaaRRRGGGHHH BBBLLLLEEAAAAAAHHHH!!!"
