But somehow that time of months she's able to do things like hate her favorite chocolate from godiva, and be absolutely repulsed by the smell of her favorite flowers. She gets mad at me for doing things like going to work...

Your woman is either on some really good drugs, or hit the genetic emotional lottery.

It's also possible that he's utterly whipped.

He liked it better when I was mean cause he could just yes me to death and wait for it to blow over. The over emtional stuff .. he doesnt know how to deal with it.

:)

I keep rough track, but really need to start marking the calendar. I've gotten so I can definitely recognize the onset of PMS, which helps keep me out of some trouble. I've also almost learned not to say anything about realizing when she has it.
"Oooooh, it's the 20th, that's why you're acting like this"
"Don't blame this on PMS RrraaarrgGGGhhh GRRaaaRRRGGGHHH BBBLLLLEEAAAAAAHHHH!!!"

Hahaha!!! I understand.
Thing is... I am not normally over emotional. I am regularly mean, so when I got worse thru PMS it was just a more intense 'mean me'... but the emotional thing... I hate it. I am soooo not normally that way. But because it is not normal for me... I know what it is all about. So, I will be the drama queen and have a crying fit here and there... and we just tell each other it is just PMS and will be over in a few days.

I was CRAZY when I took the pill 15yrs ago or so. The hormone made me awreck for at least a solid week of PMS!! I hated it. Now, it is just 2 days and it is over and done with.

:)

LOL sounds like an audio tape of 2nd wife & I... I wasn't allowed to mention she was on her period when she started ranting, if I did the rant turned into a real argument...

Hey Hey Boys, BACK OFF:p...Us woman can become very emotional during our periods.

It's a fact (not a myth) that hormones are out of control at that time, so take it easy on

us please........ PLEASE?

Man, after 3 years on "the pill" my wifes periods are almost a non event. In fact, I usually don't know when they are until I try to get all frisky and she gives me that look... then it's like "ah crap, didn't realize the red monster was in town". :D

She used to get a little emotional, smaller things would set her off but it was never bad. I was just a little more cautious with her and what I said and it was all good. Now she is done in 3 days or less, only minor cramps, and the emotions stay pretty much in check. Gotta love that BC!

My wife was never really like that. Now she is post-menopausal due to having had a hysterectomy so she's truly never like that.

My wife gets terrible mood swings about 3 days leading up to her period but the very minuite she starts, all is well again. It's an immedate transition from emotional basketcase to normal just like flipping on a light switch. Go figure:roll:.

i've had one gf who would get totally moody, one which was not affected, one who would just complain all day, and one who would get uber emotional. so every woman is different.

I still call shens... and I'm a little offended that you assume that a) my fiancee and I don't "love" each other.... and b) that I don't go out of my way to try and be comforting during her time of month.

I didn't assume that of YOU, just the general population here at ATOT (i.e., ask for marriage advice = DIVORCE!!1one!11!)

And it sounds like your gal is the one on drugs. That's just strange and over the top, at least to me. Of course I'm used to a mild-mannered gal when she's on her period. Usually her's are normal, 5 days, heavy then better, no pill, but I mean for example: She calls me and I find out she's started and feels bad. On my drive home I'll pick up supper so she doesn't hafta cook = magically makes her forget the pain, to an extent, and DEFINITELY detracts from her taking any pain out on me. She's worth going out of my way for, and she manages the time extremely well. She's always been a shy gal, and her mood remains constant (except she tends to get a lil more horny, but I'm not complaining on that one) on her period.
She also knows I have no qualms w/ "fun" on her period (I suppose not all guys will do this) and that helps matters too.

Give it up! Just admit it dude, you're a LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE. Because NO MAN, ANYWHERE, EVER would do something like [gasp] pick up dinner for his wife just to brighten her rotten day little bit. I know I certainly wouldn't. I get her flowers instead! Where's you head at anyway? ;)
