When your dog gets a new toy...

I got Brutus a stuffed duck last night. It's his new best friend.

No, when I buy my dog/s a toy, they tear it into pieces within the hour.

My dog has a "warming up" period with new toys. It usually takes her a week or two to start liking new toys, possibly because she has one special toy that is and always will be her favorite; she always wants to play with it and doesn't care a whole lot for anything else.

I haven't bought my dog a toy in years. She has "adopted" some of my son's stuffed animals though...stupid mutt.
