Did you drive more than one car? Like did you have one car for driving around town and one car for 4X4?

no. i had one crappy car. not that there's anything *wrong* with having two... cough hack spoiled cough hack :p

i had one of these

but it was white with the burgandy (sp?) rear portion. and in MUCH worse shape. i guess that would have been 1993-94? and the car was an '86 Cutlass Brougham. when i bought it, the back seat had never even been SAT in! it was a fun car! i want another one, preferably an '87 with low kms.

<< wanker! :p

No, I didn't go to Beverly Hills High and have all this money to blow on cars while father paid for education and insurance.

well lets just say that your parents got you a nice car when you turned 16 and you either have the 4X4 because its the family "junked" car or you went out and bought it.

Yes.

1977 GMC Sierra Grande 2500 - Offroad work
1977 Mercury Marquis - Sitting in the driveway and looking pimp
1988 GMC Vandura 2500 Conversion van - On-road work, family hauling, long-range commutes
1989 Plymouth Voyager SE 4cyl Non-turbo (Defunct) - Daily commuting
1989 Plymouth Voyager SE Turbo (Current) - Daily commuting, racing, light work
1998 Ford Escort ZX2 - Not much. Dad quickly adopted it as his midlife crisis car. Since the engine is compatible with the turbo parts from the van, I've been slowly working on installing the old Mitsu turbo that I pulled off the van. No rush.

Basically, I had free reign over the entire family fleet. The unspoken agreement between the two drivers (dad and I) has always been "Drive whatever's left in the driveway and if it's out of gas, pay for it yourself".

PSA: I hope you crash and die in one of the two cars you have and maybe you can take out one of your siblings as well.

Took the bus to school..parents were too poor to afford a car back then. I didn't care about cars back then either.

My parents bought me a used car when i graduated because i earned it, and needless to say, that's the last thing i'll be getting from them.
I hardly doubt a 16-year-old could *earn* a car.

Therefore... =spoiled.

Jealous much?

You know, just because he's lucky doesn't mean you have the right to be a jackass about it. It's just amazing how some people can't stand seeing others have any kind of good fortune at all.

I had a hunk o junk, '70-something Toyota hatchback... actually didn't have very many miles on it, but it was in awful shape regardless.
