When you use an electric shaver, should you use aftershave after your done?

I use 'Lectric Shave' before using my electric and get a closer, smoother shave then any stupid, overpriced, analog Mach 3 can give me.

yea, that lectric shave is good stuff. I have to get the unscented variety though... although lectric shave is not "aftershave". It is more like "beforeshave".

ok, but do you have to use it? like, i know that its important to use with a blade, but is it essential to use with the electric shaver. other than a nice smell, does it have any other importance?

I use the generic store brand and yes, it's great stuff. It is really "preshave". I use to put stuff on after but now I'm too lazy.

I use aftershave after I use my electric. The skin conditioning is the main reason - I feel so raw even after an electric shave, and the aftershave makes everything feel all better.

I usually shave before I hop in the shower so no. I just use a facewash in the shower to clean it and I dont get that raw feeling afterward
