You guys just dont get it do you, notice what some of us have been arguing back about, read the thread before you post.
Just for the record, I have never known a Redneck who lived in a trailer park to smell bad every time I talked with them. Or a.... do I need to go on? Yes I may have limited contact with Indian people but this is what I have to go on.
Well, I love India and Indian people, and my opinion is the only opinion that counts, so case closed!
I am just answering the forum question "what is the first thing that pops up in your head" I'm sorry I share some of your ideas but I cant change what I think.
I'm talking about the type of pride and hatred that makes people spend hours in a thread like this, plus the fanatics that want to kill everybody. Everybody has stereotypes in their heads, whether they admit it or not. Everybody has certain ideas about other cultures, and because it's different, they tend to consider it 'wrong', even if it's only subconsciously. That's what I'm referring to, and it'll never go away I'm sure, because people won't let it because they're too proud.
I have nothing against simply being proud of what your people have accomplished or whatever, but even that is based on dividing yourself from everyone else.
Incidentally, I do think Indians are very attractive people in general (though of course there are some butt ugly ones, just like every other race, but Indians tend to have a higher percentage of 'do-ables'). :-D And I like the few that I know, but of course that's a small number to base general opinions on.

Actually...I did like the movie "Indian", it had a point, some hot hotties, good actors. Most Indian movies are just recycled stories with different faces, and new soundtrack!

I do agree that middle aged indian women are pretty bad drivers!! among the worst is middle aged chinese women too! And then there are those idiots who supp up their cars so it makes lots of noise and scratches the bottom on any speed bump! I just laugh at them when my car 'stock' can easily take on 90% of those stupid little toy cars!
of course, there are the 10% of those supped up cars that actually look good and perform really well. Those guys I give credit to!

and one more thing. I'm not trying to be racist or stereotypical! in fact, my 4 bestest friends are chinese, ismali, south african, and japanese. Hehe, I love hanging around a SUPER-MULTICultural groups, we can make fun of each other all the time and always try out new things that may not be known to any individual cultre!
Anyone tried Pakk (is that how you spell it)? its a dessert that my Ismali friend's mom makes which is REALLY GOOD!

Darker, I'm just curious how you'd even know these people you're referring to are from India? Or is that just your best guess? Let's face it some people just outright reek and it's ignorant to associate it with a particular race or ethnicity.
At our school, there many with Indian background. I guess the first thing that pops into my head when I see them is that everyone I know that is of Indian descent is extremely intelligent.
I also think of Gwen Steffani. Why? She always had the dot(sorry, I'm really sorry that I don't know what it's called) on her forhead, as well as mehndi(? the art on the hands).
There's also this really hot newsanchor woman that has the dark skin usually associated with Indian people and had a beautiful english accent. She's so beautiful. w00t! They's is beautiful women!
