I started drinking just this past year (my first at college). Never partied or did anything during high school, but my parents know what goes on in college, so they weren't about to try and stop me. They know that I'm responsible and recognize that it's a part of college life. My dad even offers me beer now, so it's cool.
 
I didn't start drinking until after HS. Actually, until Newyears of 06. I went to a party with some friends that was being thrown by my district manager. I got pretty drunk, and fun was had by all. Except for Cheese(yes, that was what he wanted to be called), because he didn't know how to take his alcohol and spent a good portion of the evening in a chair next to the sink.

But my dad and his girlfriend knew what I was up to. I was being driven to/from the party by someone who physically can't handle alcohol, so all was well. I took 2 shots just 15 minutes ago 🙂 And now I'm wondering where my buddy is who said he wanted to hang out.


But yeah. There wasn't a huge talk or anything. Just that my dad wanted me to know that he never wanted me to drive home after drinking, or anywhere for that matter. He wanted me to know that I could give him a call, no matter what the time was, and he would come and get me, no questions asked.

My dad is cool 🙂

Eh not that I can remember. I never started drinking until almost senior year of high school. My parents didn't need to talk to me... I dunno I guess it just was how I was raised, whatever, I knew not to fvck around w/ alcohol.
