Do you look down on them? As if there opinion doesn't matter? I keep finding myself seeing people in other forums with little to almost no posts being wrong (or better yet, misinformed) much of the time.

It's almost to the point I don't want to read their posts...
 
Yeah, lifers usually nef their way to the top.
There are exceptions though, especially in Highly Tech and General Hardware.
 
I always have to wonder if our "new" members are really new members, or they're people who's accounts were previously banned.

I swear that TPF somehow rejoined. I think he got by the moderators because he was previously using false information and a spoofed IP, and now he's posting under his real (or close to it) info. And his trolling is no longer satire, but more subtle.

I'm scared - I can see his eye watching me...

on forums like this, people are rarely who they pretend to be. It takes a few years to really figure out who someone is.

Except the rare poster who puts it all out there right away. Trident and neckbeard are cool in my book since they don't pretend to be anything they aren't.

I hardly ever even look to the left. Usually I see who is posting by catching the avatar in my peripheral vision.

i agree. i don't have issues with either one. then again with my memory (it sucks) if forget some of the shit they do heh.

As for pretending to be something other then you are. it seems to me way to hard to do. if you have been on this forum a short time (like me im still a newb) keeping stories, fake history or whatever over that time span would be impossible.

also the number of post do not matter. I'm retired and bored. i have time to sit here and post. though i have to say the forum is not as fun as it was 2+ years ago. seemed nearly every day we had some great post to talk about. now its so damn slow
