Is it possible to keep your email address after moving out of state?

I doubt it's common practice, just curious.

No. They should be able to setup a redirect for a month or so until you get everything switched over to the new e-mail address.

But no one here is smart enough to figure that out. That's why they post things that no one can answer and get upset when they don't find what they are looking for...

Call the ISP. Every ISP is different. Might be able to setup a forward, might be able to pay a fee just for the email address, etc.

Just get a gmail account or something and then you don't have to worry about it.

My ISP will allow using their service just for email for $32/year.

Of course it's possible. Maybe you didn't realize this, but you can check your email from any computer with an internet connection. Wow!
