When you make Ramen, do you put the flavor packet in before or after you cook the noodles?

I usually cook 2 packets at a time and put 1 packet in the water, then the other half tossed with the noodles after I drain.

Eating the noodles is so declasse. You're supposed to throw the noodles out and snort the flavor packet, duh.

Boil water.
Toss in some sesame oil.
Put noodles in.
Soften them up a bit.
Apply seasoning packet.
Simmer until noodles are the right consistency.
Take blood pressure medication.
Enjoy.

After. I drain the ramen first and wash it with tap water, and boil a separate pot of water to put the seasoning in.

You will need:
- 1 package of ramen noodles
- 1 bag of doritos (a small one was enough for our recipe)
- 1/2 lb. of ground beef
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- Taco seasoning (optional)

How to cook:
The noodles:
1. Put 2 cups of water in a cooking pot and bring to a boil.
2. Once the water is boiling add your ramen noodles.
3. Wait 2-3 minutes until the noodles are tender and separated.
4. Take off the water with the strainer.
The recipe:
5. Cook the ground beef in a cooking pan.
6. Once it's ready, put it in a bowl.
7. Add the ramen noodles and mix it with the beef.
8. Place the Doritos chips around the beef like on the picture (it looks like a flower!)
9. Break into small pieces the Doritos you have left and put them on top of the beef.
10. Add the shredded cheese and taco seasoning (optional)
11. Enjoy!

before, my korean ramen says to do it before, plus it raises the boiling temp so it cooks faster and the flavor goes in.
I add eggs too, I wouldn't want to boil the eggs in flavorless water.

I usually toss the noodles in with water for about 2 minutes, then I add the packet and stir it around a bit and do another 2 minutes so in between like the rebel I am. ;)

It's cheap, quick, and probably better for you than a bag of Doritos.

the korean ones actually taste really good. it's even a common dish in many asian restaurants for like $4 a bowl, but of course with other stuff added.

*You* might be making noodles. I make soup ;^)

srsly, what the...

im making whatever the hell i want to make.

i make something in between noodles and soup. Has enough water that after the noodles are consumed still some 'broth' but not much. Sure as shit don't drain all the water. That just doesn't make sense. Ramen isn't the kind of noodles I'm going to want being just noodles. I want some creamy sauce with thick noodles if I'm making a noodle side dish/snack.

It makes for a decent snack. I always keep a few around just in case.

Ramen consists of noodles served in broth-like soup, you dickscarf. Just because your ignorant ass likes to prepare your Ramen weirdly doesn't make everyone else doing it the normal way incorrect.

Ramen - serious shit ;)

before.
for the 10 cent kind it doesn't matter, the flavor isn't that good. closer to a dollar saporo etc u can get at the asian market the soup tastes more like food instead of artificial flavoring, so definitely before
