When you join an organization and you give that organization your e-mail address, do you give them carte blanc permission to use your e-mail address as they see fit?

Do you also give members of that organization permission to use your e-mail as they see fit??

Legally you have no recourse. They can do anything they want with your info. Anyone that can see it can do anything they want with it.
