How old school AT are you? Somebody said, "nice shoes!" to me recently, and I had this moment where my brain clicked off and then on again, trying to process whether it was a compliment or proposition.

It was the question to ask back in my college days. The girls all acted like it was some kind of bizarre 'in-joke' or something.

In my defense, A) it was a compliment and 2) I'd been up for something like 18 hours at that point and the ol' vacuum tubes that pass for a brain weren't functioning at 100%. 😛
