When my wife sees her doctor, who is female (I know what some of you are thinking 😉), she shaves her legs and takes a shower. I simply find this odd, since it seems excessive. She says every women she knows does this....
 
Women take care of themselves more for other women than they do for men. Sad but true... I think it's cause they don't like rumors, etc to float around about them not maintaining themselves.
 
Oh, to add to the story, since she's pregnant, she's still adamant to have her legs shaven before giving birth. On the way to the hospital, she's planning to use my electric razor on her legs :Q
 
i will shower but as grooming wise, if im getting a physical i will defently clean up downstairs some. Dont want to be a slob.
 
yes, of course i do. i make myself good. I mean, i cannot even imagine being the Doc and seeing what kind/how people aer when they come in there.
 
1. shaving legs: you don't want a doctor to look at a woman's hairy legs, do you? do you find it attractive?

2. shower: doctors poke and prod in the most intimate places. you need to make sure it's clean and it smells good.

at first, reading your subject alone would have caused me to say "no, i don't make myself presentable" since i don't dress up to go to the doctor. but your wife is right. you don't want to gross the doctor out -- especially since other patients might already have done just that.

I'm sure docs have seen worse... so it's not really justified that they do it... but if they want to... there's nothing wrong with that.
 
If I was a woman, I'd assume most male gynocologists were in the business just to get off on feeling-up nice cooters, so I'd be extra sure to be as rancid as possible that day.

Do you brush your teeth before you go to the dentist, or do you eat a box of oreos to give them something to work with?

Meh, depends on why I'm going to the doctor's office. If its routine, sure I'll exercise my normal degree of personal hygiene. If it's because I'm sick as a dog and I need help, I'm gonna just put on whatever clothes happen to be lying around and head out the door.

I don't have to shave my legs. Since everything else is alway managed, I don't really worry about it. The only thing is MAKING SURE I am wearing underwear... 😱
 
Id take a shower and shave before going to the doc. i dont want to stink!

this has nothing about being presentable but i just remembered a hilarious story

the doc requested a stool sample and my friend would keep them in the fridge he would put them in ziplock bags and store them in a brown bag in the fridge. freaked out his roommate that day.

have you seen pictures of the diseased vaginas they have to look at on a daily basis?

theres no way there getting off at all doing that
