I take it personally. Was talking to someone and he told me to fvck off in a PM. That bothered me. Acts like I caused him some great misfortune.

well mostly it doesn't bother me from the fact that I usually know the person would absolutely not say crap in person. It has nothing with do I know them in RL or this is all 'imaginary' here. I also know half of the 'flames' here are just idiots trying to be funny and make their pathetic lives and lack of sack time with members of the opposite or even same sex justified. 
I pretty much pull the same antics out and about that I do here....sometimes it backfires, sometimes you get a laugh or two as the person that thought they were running the show experiences the heat of a mob. In public I am surprised how someone can go on and on making everyone uncomfortable, yet all it takes is one person to say STFU and then everyone revolts. People are sheep time and time again.

No one has really ever ripped on me, seeing as I'm one of the more popular forum members. I'd imagine if someone was to rip on me, I'd probably take it pretty badly. I might reflect for awhile on who I am as a person, and really try to get to the bottom of the person's issue with me.

Only been flamed once recently, it seriously pissed me off, the poster made half-assed assumptions & evidently percieves life thought a pretty strange filter. My orig post was about a different topic & suddenly I'm dealing with complete BS from someone that has no clue about WTF they were talking about.
In real life I have lawyers talk for me, set a personal record last summer with 5 on retainer @ one time, back down to 4 now. The cool thing is that I pick my battles in real life & win the arguments that really count. IE: had arrest warrant served on ex wife & haven't heard a peep out of her for 3 weeks now. It's killing me not knowing if she's still in jail or not:evil:
The best revenge is living well & buying a router table that adjusts from the top

Personally I think your wife (based on your description of her) is more happy you have to have 4 lawyers on retainer. To me 4 is an excessive amount for anything less than millions. I don't know how she goes to jail based on child support if she's no longer a citizen in your country though, deportation I would understand.

I've been ripped on ATOT a lot lately (been depressed so I use this forum as a release of sorts)... I do take it personally and am hurt by it... It's hard not to take things personally, even on an anonymous board like this.. But I also try to keep things in perspective- I'm whining about girl problems and getting put down be people who would only dream of having the problems that I have...
