When you get a haircut, what instructions do you give the guy who's clipping your hair?

I once said that and the lady got all pissed because she didn't know what to do... she was all b!tchy about it too. Nowadays, I just say 2 on the sides, 7 on top. Sometimes I let my brother cut my hair, he does an alright job.

I don't know, I don't let guys cut my hair. If I go into a place and the only person available is a guy, I come back later. I've never had a good experience when a man cut my hair, plus I don't need them touching me.

i get my friends to cut my hair.. saves me $$, booya

fwiw, i've found that a 4 all the way around gives a great combo between short hair and keeping it the way i like it (too short and it cuts off too much on the front)

Usually, cut it short. Past few times, I tried getting the barber to leave it longer since I think I look really weird with very short hair. Then I just give up and say, same as last time then let it grow till it looks better.
