I've been planning on building a mid range to high end computer for a while now (around a year). But every time I feel that I can get good parts for a not-too-crazy price, a new lineup of video cards or CPUs or whatever gets announced by <insert company name here>.
So, basically, I'm sick and tired of waiting. Would it be smart to order parts now? Or will, say, mid-high end video card prices get lower as the X1900 and the GF7900s get closer to their launch? Basically, when are prices the best in a product's lifetime? (I know, it's a sorta abstract question, but...)
