Link19 can be related to a menstrual cycle for a female. Thank goodness they only come around once in a while, but on occasion when they do, they are a pain in the @$$!

You know, I almost stopped reading this thread until I saw the mention of Win98. After that I had to continue to see if Link19 would show up. He did not disappoint. His hatred of an OS is both amusing and disturbing. ;)

I have taken notice of his posting habits and they certainly are that of a troll...he only posts in threads that have soemthing to do with Win9x or anything to do with Windows XP being replaced...and he never provides anything useful to the thread only the same old dribble about Win9x being a POS.

I really wish the mods would hurry up and ban his arse.

Even if MS stops supporting XP, its not like they will send a packet to go past my firewall which will destroy the installation. It will still work, and my software will still work. I recently upgraded to XP, and only did so since I could not get any games to work in win2k, since win2k is a decent OS too, at least for non gaming environment. My xp version does not require activation, so I'm good as far as that goes.

Even if I do get a quad quadcore xeon machine as a workstation, I dont see myself upgrading to Vista. What scares me, is all the noobs out there that will buy crappy celeron emachines with vista on it then come to me for support because their machine is filled with spyware and viruses, and it takes 20 minutes to open a window. I've seen trashed XP machines, and that is brutal to work with, I dont want to imagine what a trashed vista machine will be like...

But I definately wont be going vista any time soon. I'll go with linux as desktop OS before that, I hope...

It's going to have to last at least ten more years so MS can get a stable version of Vista ;)

Isn't 2000 already past it's support lifecycle, and they don't even have a stable version of XP yet?

Hrm, well I've mostly posted about you in a kind of satirical way, but...
Don't you get tired of just being a retard that no one likes?
Personally, I'd probably start finding that rather disheartening after a while...
