We recently got AT&T fiber here, gigabit, as I mentioned in another thread. The modem/router comes with a 5Gb/s ethernet port. At times I can get get a bit more than 1Gb/s down on speedtest. So far I am pretty happy with it, huge increase in upload speeds, and improved latency. I do not know what their plans are for multi-gigabit.
