Eh, 2009 recession is all but over where I'm from... Other than that, it's fine over here.

New Zealand has a GDP ranked 54th in the world, and being a relatively minor player in the world economy obviously the recession has a very small effect to your local economy.

By the way, General Motors even when it suffers a loss, makes more revenue (USD$148 billion) than the entire country of NZ (nominal GDP of $128 billion) combined.

But...but...America does nothing right! America is backwards and New Zealand is the best! America is hilarious, and everyone makes fun of them around the proverbial watercooler.

You New Zealanders are hilarious. Lets hate America because its cool!

I keep asking myself the same question every morning when I look in the mirror and see yet a few more hairs missing, "When will this recession end?"

This is officially the most bizarre thread ever. I've never seen any other thread started and picked up after 8-1/2 years. Children have actually been conceived, born, and started school to parents who'd never met when this post began.

The most popular Fords in this country (Falcon and Fairmont) are Australian built, followed by the Focus which IIRC is built in South Africa. All Holdens are either built in Australia, South Africa or Europe. The Opels available here are either rebadged Holdens built in Australia or European built.
lulz, you complain (again) about an old thread bump and now you're actually partaking in it (if tangential trolling can be considered partaking).

I think it's cool, it's neat to go back in time. These threads are like time capsules pulled from the ground and we can see where we were then. There are some in P&N, too.
