When will the prices lower on the older video cards?

I was wondering when a good time to replace my 9600XT with probably a 9800 Pro. I have seen the prices start to get lower on Ebay . I still think they could get lower as soon as the 6800s and the X800XT are released. Is this possible or likely?

No one can really give you an answer to that. Common sense would dictate that it would drop but your guess is as good as ours.

They will cut production in response to less demand inorder to maintain prices that are favorable to them
