As you all know this country is sharply divided down the middle after this election. Such divisiveness is apparent everywhere. I think one of the main reason that our country is so divided is because both political parties, in the past four years, have used extreme partisan propaganda/lies/scare tatics/black-mailing/privacy invasions/dirty tactics to advance their political agenda (which most of America really don't give a damn) and to ensure re-elections. Many Americans are disgusted at either the DEmocratic or the Republican party; or both because of these dark stories. The next president AND CONGRESS need to start healing the wounds of this nation. I believe whoever the president will be need to have a cabinent with both Republicans and DEmocrats. Congress should stop their dirty politics behind "committe doors". They need to stop passing bills that get them re-elected, and start passing bills that are in the best interest of Americans, all of them! Politicians should rethink why they ran for political office. Party leaders should carefully examine their political tones so that the country will not be galvanized any further! God bless us all.

The healing will start as soon as Gore concedes gracefully...
and not subject the nation to the acrimony of legal challenges.

the healing will start once the votes in question in florida are addressed. every voters vote is important and should never be passed over in the name of convenience.

Well, you've got half the country pulling money out of the other half's pocket and then calling them "selfish and greedy" for trying to put a stop to it.

You've got "politically correct" rules for the workplace that include being accused of sexual harassment for the slightest infractions. Yet the commander-in-chief, the head dog of the party that put these rules in place, seems to think that he should be able to drop his pants in front of a woman ("trailer park" Paula) with impunity. How dare anyone take him to court over that?

Half the country takes issue with sucking the brain from a baby that's eight months in gestation. Yet, almost the entire country would seek the death penalty for a slime that did that to a new born baby! Gee, I just can't understand why "the healing" is so slow in coming...

I have a compromise. Let's get a divorce.

All of the states that Bush took will be the United States of America. Gore can call his country the People's Republic of America.

That would solve the AIDS, welfare, crime, drug, and most of the other social problems the USA is afflicted with.

You libs can't even feed yourselves.
