Sounds like this will be one nice card. Anyone have any idea when this beast will be available to the public?

Me too. I'm a big ATI fan. Actually single card vs. single card (apples to apples) ATI is still the king!!

If the rumors about the r520 are true (3x faster, 24pipes, 1.8ghz ram), how much will the x850xt pe's be worth when the x950xt's come out? (as in avalible to buy at retal price and in stock)

3x faster would be great! HOWEVER, I don't know if I believe that rumor. All throughout the introduction of new graphics cards, the increase has almost always been slight - more in the 30% - 40% range. Just my $.02 worth.

3x is just a theorised number, I would be very surprised if its even 2x faster in the real world, expect 50-75% faster than the current fastest cards

I know that 3x is just a guess, but my question is How much would an x850xtpe be worth if the new card is 3x faster?

current top of the line cards will start by going down to about 300 bucks, slowly down to 200 and then be replaced by lower version of the new cards

but thats just a guess :p
