I'd say they are pretty dang close to bottomed out now. I couldn't see them going much lower.

I remember saying that... when I saw 8MB simms for less than $100. Then I said it again, when I saw 32MB simms for $100.
When I saw 128MB sdram for $60 I said it.

I don't say it anymore.

You will see 1GB PC3500 ram for about $70 in about 18 months. Count on it. Mobo's will be taking up to 4-6GB of ram by then... blah blah blah...

It never ends guys..............

well, it will shot up when one of the 3 biggest memory manufacturers go down for good, so far I am guessing it's either micron or hynix.

Also pray there ar no more earthquakes in Taiwan and that China doesn't try to take Taiwan back forcefully. Those would spell bad news for many electronic parts, not the least of which is ram. Remember the late summer and fall of 1999? 128 megs of ram was close to $200 when it was less than half of that earlier that year.

You did. Then - 64MB went about as far as 512 does these days... performance-wise.

Just remember, in a few years... having 512MB and running Win2k then, will be like having 64MB and running WIn95 now.
