WHEN WILL IT STOP!?!?

For about an hour and a half, I've had not only the hiccups, but the burping hiccups. I'll hiccup, then in the same motion, a large burp. I'm sure I don't have enough gas in my stomach to be making these large burps all the time, so the hiccups are somehow drawing air into my stomach.

It's pretty funny for the first fifteen minutes, but now I'm just sore. 🙁

I heard somewhere rubbing your earlobes helps with hiccuping. I tried it once long ago and it worked. Haven't had the hiccups in a while though. Worth a shot!

It's all about distraction. You need to concentrate on something else for them to go away. I normally drink water very slowly whilst breathing in and out very shallow through the nose.

what did they give you before they, you know... cut it? did they put you to sleep? could be caused by that.

touch your peepee....bet it makes you stop

thats how he got the hiccups

I guarantee you since he had a circumcision yesterday, if he touches it he will scream. And that will fix the hiccups.

WARNING: STOP READING

I need to keep dabbing at it with toilet paper because overnight, the rubbing of the newly exposed flesh on my underwear caused some blisters, which have been draining. Artificial opiates are man's best invention.

Something good enough, I guess. I don't remember falling asleep, I just remember him screwing a little syringe into my IV line, then waiting... then waking up. No countdown, just down. That was yesterday though, these only started today.

Edited.

Wow, thats the same way I felt when I had my nose surgery two weeks ago. I just blacked out, woke up a second later feeling like worst hangover x1000.

What meds are you taking....because they might be causing this....tell/PM me the meds and I'll tell you if they might be the problem

Hiccups cause you to suddenly breath inward. As a result it could cause air to enter your stomach. hense causing you to burp.

this method works for me.

Take a deep breath, and hold it for as long as you can. Even if you hiccup while holding, keep holding it in. Then when you can't hold it anymore, let the breath out SLOWLY. do not exhale quickly. That should do it. If it doesn't on the first try, repeat again, or until they are gone.

Or until you pass out? 😛
