Hi
I'm in the market for a tablet (a thin and light with keyboard dock, clam shell design, x86) and sadly I don't have the luxury to wait until Haswell or bay trail (I'm leaving on a trip in August).
I'm *very* close to buying a HP Envy X2, but I always loathed netbooks because of their anemic performance and I'm thus afraid of regretting spending money on something I'll never really like.
I'm therefore betting on the 7W Ivy bridge and that it will allow production of something almost as light and compact as an atom based tablet.
However, almost all info on the 7W Ivy bridge processor seems to focus on the whole SDP debacle with next to nothing on when the processor can be found in tablets and which brands it will be.
Therefore I'm hoping that some of you can help with information on this.
Thanks in advance.
