When will 6800 line get cheaper?

Now that the 7800 line of cards has been introduced, how much longer will it be before 6800 cards start dropping in price? I'm interested in getting a 6800 GT, but I don't want to buy it and then find out I could have saved ~$100 (or whatever) a week later.

Anyone have any ideas about this?
 
guessing the end of the Q3.

Once ATI finally makes it to the market w/ the 520 and Nv drops the prices of its 7XXX line.


Although Nv could just drop the 6XXX series altogether and let it die out before dropping prices.
 
I doubt it. I think they'll be like the 9800Pro. They're still excellent performers. The 7800GTX is for the bleeding edge people, like me.
 
They have started to come down a little. Nothing drastic but just a little. If the ATI lineup drop then the NVIDIA line will drop with it.

Right now ATI is doing a mail in rebate promo which a lot dont really care for and thats not enough to get NVIDIA to drop the prices.
