Assassination Attempt by Vladimir Arutyunian, Tbilisi, Georgia (10-May-2005)
On 10 May 2005, during a rally at which U.S. president George W. Bush and Georgian president Mikhail Saakashvili were speaking, Arutyunian threw a live grenade at the stage, though the grenade did not detonate. Arutyunian was apprehended following a shoot-out in his apartment on 20 July 2005, in which he killed Zurab Kvlividze, head of the Anti-Terrorist Department of the Georgian Interior Ministry, and was shot three times in the legs. He was sentenced to life imprisonment on 12 January 2006.

It's not illegal to wish someone dead...not even by assassination. It's only illegal if you try to do it. Pesonally, I agree with him that it's too bad. The world could ONLY be a better place with each neocon removed.

He never openly threatened the president thus making it legal to say what he said.

Agreed, however it is illegal to openly threaten the president, but it's not as though the scumbag acts like one anyway.
