Does he live in a relatively big city? If so he can get half meg DSL for the same price. Two weeks ago. I reset the 56k modem on my uncle's new laptop. He still uses 56k because he cannot afford broadband. AOL 56k is only $10/month so he uses that.

It would be whoever his telco is. at&t is $10, verizon is $12.99 to $15 depending on location. He lives just outside of Little Rock, Arkansas. It seems I will do some searching for him. If you have a company name, it would help. Thanks.

Bummer. I found this but I guess it won't help if they don't service his area. http://www.dslfor10.com/Thank you for the tip. Both AT&T and Verizon's prices were $20/month plus neither of them provide service to his address.
Around 2005... I had a back-up dial up account for when my broadband went out.
Jesus... go outside and play or something.
Nice. I got my 1st cell phone free from my employer and they paid the bills. Then they asked me to pay the bills and I complied, of course. Now I'm addicted and pay my own. Addicted? Not!Hey now... my employer paid for my Internet connection!
