When was the last time you rode public transportation ??

A month ago when I was trying to see how "time saving" it is. Boarded a MetroLink train, got off at a station near my workplace. Had to walk to my workplace from there. Total trip time, 2.5 hours. If I drove to work, 1 hour, 15 minutes. It's also a loss on the cost, train ticket costs $12.50 roundtrip.

Never regularly, but in the past few months, I have used trains/subway to go from my house to DC and back, throughout Minneapolis/St. Paul, and to NYC.

Lets see here:

According to the routes.
I'll take #30(make sure I purchase a transfer slip), get off and take #28 to the terminal.
Then I can take #8(make sure I purchase a transfer slip again) get off and take #42 and I should be near my parents house.
I should get there in oh 2 hrs or so.

Alrighty then......as dedective Ace Ventura would say.

I rode a school bus as part of a shuttle to and from an airshow last weekend. But that probably doesn't count.

I'd consider it, but there isn't a bus stop within 5 miles of where I live, and I'd have to make about 3 interchanges before I got to work.

In my previous home, the nearest bus stop was almost 10 miles from my home, and it would actuall require more distance to drive to the bus stop than it would to drive to the mall or any major attraction that I would want to go to.

took the subway this morning.

used to drive to work before, but i guess public transportation is not that bad
