When was the last time you listened to AM radio?

The only local sports talk radio is now on FM (97.1 the Ticket, RIP WDFN 🙁) so I very rarely listen. Traffic updates on AM950 are the only thing I ever tune in for.

Listen to it every day, mostly 1590 KLIV (local news and road info in the South Bay) and 810 KGO - Ron Owens talk show in the morning.
Now that my commute has shrunk from 15 minutes door to door to 5 minutes, I usually switch to 106.9FM which used to be music, but now has been replaced with AM broadcast of KCBS news.

I listen to it sometimes on my drives to/from Philly. I put in 1060 to get traffic updates because I-95 (especially around Philly) is a clusterfuck of fail.

Almost 10 years ago when I listened to the G Gordon Liddy show.

Hey, I did as well.

His show was actually kind of cool. Talked about all kinds of crap from working out to fixing your car to football to being in prison, right? Seemed like a really smart guy.......

That's what I liked about him. He was opinionated as hell, but very bright, and even if I didn't agree with him, his stance was generally justifiable. I stopped listening for awhile, then tuned in a couple of years later, and he had a female sidekick. The show seemed like it lost something, and didn't click with me then. I may have to track him down and see if he's still broadcasting.

If you read at all, pick up his book Will(autobiography). It's fairly inspirational, and a interesting story about a unique individual.

He is still around broadcasting off a Satellite C band, Sirus and Radio America

as for talk radio, its like p&n without wikipedia and google, retardation++

I sort of collect oldass tube radios... so pretty frequently.

Although most of the sets I have are AM/FM/SW combos anyhow.
