Finding my dad when he passed 9 years ago. I sat by his body for a bit, I couldn't stop crying. I really lost it that day.

When my dog died. That's the only time i've crie since I was little kid and got hurt or something. That's after losing relatives, grandmother, etc.

After thinking about it, the only way I'd cry now is if I lost my son or dog. I really, honestly know that I wouldnt' cry about anything else, including from pain or mother/father/brother/other.

I wanted to add to my comment above, it's not because I think I'm a badass or anything either. It's because I really lack emotional attachment to anything or anyone besides son or dog. My son, because well, he's my son. My dog, because I've had her for 12 years, and she has literally (yes literaly) been my pillow for those 12 years.

When my son was born 3 months ago. There was nothing bad happening, it was just so overwhelming and emotional.

Because of something sad, it would have been 4 months ago at my grandmother's funeral.

Sometimes it's hard to not cry when I think about my grandpa. I miss him so very very much. I don't remember exactly when the last time would have been, but probably some time in the last year.

Three weeks ago I went to the hospital to see my aunt who is dying of kidney failure. The dialysis machine is basically keeping her alive. Her breathing was in spurts (her chest was going up and down quickly like if you could see her heartbeats), she could barely keep her eyes open, and could barely talk and had to be reminded who we were because she is just really out of it.

Just the hopelessness of the situation seeing someone dying in front of your eyes and remembering not even a year ago she was with us at thanksgiving talking and eating with the family... I was in shock and had no idea she was as bad as she was and I just kinda lost it.

We had to put our 12 year old dog down last February. My wife and I both cried during that. My Dad died last December so I had a few cries during and after that ordeal...even as recent as a few months ago.

10months ago when my son was born, right when he cried for the first time I lost it. Up until then the only other time I've ever cried as an adult was 2nd year in college, my dog that I had had since 2nd grade died, when home and buried her, lost it when I put her in the hole before covering it up.
