When using remote desktop what data can be seen?

If I remote desktop from work to my home computer and say do some web surfing, email and small file transfers, will there be any recognizable data being logged to our routers and firewalls? In other words, can the network admins view the log files and see that I've been visiting this site and how often?

they can see the initial conencton to the RDP server and the amount of bandwidth used.

RDP security is susceptible to certain attacks and can be compromised...no way in hell and IT staff would have that much time on their hands

although if you get caught "sneaking around" policies (such as web surfing) then they don't care if it's via rdp from home, or local.

Also, rdp may not be allowed, check with your network admin.

If they are running any desktop monitoring software that takes screenshots of your activity, they'll be able to see what you are up to that way.
