Hi everyone ,

How old do you think a scsi hd should be before replacing ?

I have some systems booting w/ some Atlas 10k2's (2000) . They still run well but their pushing 4 yrs.

I'm replacing one system w/ a atlas 15k 36g (workstation), but my server(10k2) should probably get a new 10k4 or I can move a current 10k3 36g(workstation) to the server.

my systems run 8hrs/7days average. The problem is , I'm accumalating too many unused scsi drives 2.0g, 4.5g, 3 - 9g's.

Regards,
Jose

Replace it when it dies\becomes too small for your needs. You could always sell the spares on eBay or in the FS\FT Forum.
