when to call after interview?

It's for a part time position and he said he will get back to me within a couple of days. I took this as that I'll hear back by the end of the week. It's Friday now and I haven't heard a peep from him.
He didn't reply to my thank you letter so maybe he may never get back to me unless it's an acceptance...

While it can be annoying to bug someone on a Friday afternoon, he did say a couple of days so it should be alright to call. When did you send your email? If you just sent it yesterday then it might be too early to call.

Get his home number and call him at 11:59 that way you can be sure he wasn't planning on calling you today.

Nobody wants a call Friday afternoon and anyone in a hiring position probably has a bunch of worthless emails to deal with first thing Monday.
