Saddams campaign workers are really "hitting" the Iraqi people hard with car bombs. Saddam knows no other way to deal with dissent.

I didn't know Saddam was still in power. And all this time, I thought the Iraqi people didn't want to throw roses on their own accord; seems like Saddam was behind it all along.

Considering how good the left are predicting election outcomes, you may want to scale your statements back a bit in your subtopic from "And" to "If." 😉
But the exit polls say a theocracy is gonna win!

I thought I read that the Iraq people would be electing a 200+ council...and the council would "CHOOSE" the new president? Is that true?
That was Afghanistan.

Afghanistan had a direct election for President.

In January 2005 Iraq will be electing a 275 member assembly who will draft the Iraqi Constitution and install a temporary executive branch. In December 2005 there will be an election based on the methods prescribed in the new Constitution.

Thank you. That's what I thought I had read...but could not find it.

CaptnKirk, didn't you get the memo? Theocratic democracies are only tolerated in Christian nations.
The members of the Church of Liberalism are praying that will change.

While members of the Church of Bush are praying it won't. Hosiannah and Hallelujah. Our Christian Ayatollah beats the crap out of your Muslim Ayatollah. Praise BushGod.
