Uh they released the wireless receiver a week or so ago. That lets you use all wireless XBOX 360 controllers.

Why not just use the Logitech Wireless Rumblepad that you can get on Amazon for ~$33?

I prefer the 360 layout/feel to the PS2.

However, you're right about the cost ... $20 receiver + $40 controller =

Umm Merc, that's $20 for any wireless accessory (steering wheel, controller, headset, etc) ... and no, there is no combo.

I picked one up the other day at EB; however... I will warn you. It isn't that great. There is absolutely NO emulation feature that I have found that will allow it to emulate the keyboard or mouse, so the only way you can use it is if the game is already programmed for it. I don't know if there's 3rd party software on the net to solve this, but it's definitely frustrating none-the-less.

Do they sell a receiver/controller combo though?

I don't think so. I have to admit, I bought a wired xbox360 controller to play some older "games" on my PC at compusa after work a couple weeks ago. I then go home, turn on my xbox360 and see the "wireless xbox 360 controller received for PC" advertisement on the dashboard. I have 2 wireless controllers already. I was pissed :(.

When I do play racing games, I use a gamepad generally. Headset, don't really need that right now. :p

Can't you use the third-party drivers for the original Xbox controller to do the emulation?

I was thinking about going this route (360) but went for the Logitech at half the price... I've never really played any Xbox (original or 360) so I'm not sure how I feel about their layout.
