When the heck is this virus going to quit spamming all of our mail boxes!?!?!?!

These keep hitting my mail boxes with no sign of slowing down.
Will they continue untill everyone patches or September 10th?

I take care of the general email boxes here at work as well...and it is getting ridiculous. I had over 6000 in one box this morning. :|
 
I haven't gotten a single virus infected or virus caused email from this whole thing. I have, however, gotten a couple dozen emails from various people in the IT department talking about security and viruses...

yeah same here. They are all cleaned to a .txt file.
 
I've lost count how many popped up, will wait for a summary report at end of day
It's almost like 1 per minute...

Just checked the summary stats report, server turffed over 600 virus emails sent to the company... that's the most I've ever seen in a 24hr period of time.

Yeah, the only spam I've got has been people warning everyone on their mailing list about it. How ironic. 😛
 
me too..my friggin network has gotten hundreds...sure it gets cleaned to a txt file but
its damn irritating to see the notifications fill up my inbox...
every few min i gotta be checking email..mutha pricks...but then i think about the dood on the
other end who got hit...shoot, their network must be hell right now.
 
I don't see the problem, I've gotten one such message (And I'm on every spam list on the planet) and Mozilla Thunderbird tossed it right where I trained it to toss everything with attachments sent to that address - into the "Spam" folder. <cheap plug>I highly recommend switching to Thunderbird (Not Mozilla Mail) - it's rock stable, sanitizes HTML at your option and the adaptive spam filters are INCREDIBLE </cheap plug>

ummm i get mine at the general mailboxes for the business i work at. I've gotten zero at my personal addresses.
 
Only had one person get any at work today. Our exchange admin is pretty much stripping all attachments. Makes my job a lot easier.
