When the change to VBulletin happens... (POLL)

Will you use a new avatar, or stick with a FuseTalk/AT avatar, or none at all?

Right now I am undecided.

Is there any legal issue with VBulletin forums allowing users to use (copyrighted?) FuseTalk avatars? Or is that even an issue?

Not sure.

But if possible, I'll likely be going with the pic of Danny Plainview or Pigpen that I tend to use as my avatar these days. not sure how this VB thingy works anyway.

Maybe a crop of this or some other illustration from that book.

Is that from Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark? I remember reading that series when I was 11. Some of the stories gave me nightmares.

Read a lot of Shel Silverstein's stuff on it's own in elementary school.

Yeah, that's the book. Some of the stories were pretty creepy, but the illustrations were what really did it for me.

Kinda hard to believe that stuff was in a kid's book.

What is the big deal about vBulletin? Anandtech has been on Fusetalk for years and it seems to work alright with the exception of the time warps lately.

Fusetalk has a good deal of bugs and I'm sure that we users don't know all of them. But I'd guess that the big dealkiller is that a VBulletin support contract is 10% the price of Fusetalk's, whose support (I've heard here) is total shit.

I've never had any gripes about it, but then again maybe my ignorance is bliss
