In the singular: mom, dad, sometimes father
Together: usually "my parents"
To siblings: mom, dad, "mom and dad," "the parents" (some people find this last one strange)

I refer to them as Mom and Dad or my mother and father, depending on the circumstances. I refer to my in-laws by their first names, my mother-in-law and father-in-law, Grandma and Grandpa (to my kids), your mom and dad (to spouse or his brothers), or Tom's mom/mother and dad/father, depending on the circumstances. My kids call me Mama or Mom (or MOTHER! if they're shocked or irritated by me.)

Oh shoot, I voted wrong. Should have read the thread.

When I'm addressing them, I call them mom and dad.

When I'm referring to them I call them "my mother" and "my father" unless I'm talking to one of my brothers, then it's just mom and dad.
