When selling a computer rig on eBay - Is it best to sell the whole computer or part it out?

At some point, I will probably sell my entire rig and build a brand new one. Question. When selling the old rig, is it best to sell the computer as a whole on eBay or take each part out and sell them seperately (video card, mother board, ram, hard drive, etc)??

Which way would net the most money?? Anyone had any experience with this? Thanks!!

parting it out will generally net the most money, however, it's more difficult to sell some parts than others. for example, video card and cpu are usually easier to sell than hard drivs.

Parting out will bring in more $, and may sell quicker too. The only headache is, it requires more trips to the shipper and wil cost a little more, especially if you sell the empty case.
